Not much going on personally, My nephew had his first son born on January 2 and I got to see him today.
Right now, I'm pretty bored. I've been watching some Ukrainian talent show on youtube which is pretty good. Well, anyway, is there anyone really out there who reads this stuff. Let me know, otherwise, I might just stick to facebook.
Well, I'm going to try to keep this blog updated as much as possible. First of all, a little more about me. I am a Youth Treatment Specialist for a specialized staff-secure unit for a facility that I will not name here. I know it may sound scary, but the specialization is with juvenile sex offenders.
Now, If you're still reading, I am impressed because I'm sure that last statement will scare away about 80% of the people who read it. You see, I have a firm testimony of the miracle of forgiveness. No, not in the way that you may think. I have not committed any major sin that required a Bishop to tend to.
I have seen many young people in todays society who desperately need to know that htye can overcome whatever obstacle Satan throws in their way, despite any previous bad choices they may have made. While I am wokring with a group that desperately needs (and in many cases want) the healing power of forgiveness, I am strengthened in knowing that while I am not bringing these young men into the church, I am definately putting them on the correct path so that they can/will/may know the truth of the gospel when it is given unto them.
